The Acoustic Rock Power Hour got its start 3 years ago on Acoustic Alternative Radio. The popularity of the show has grown to literally thousands of loyal listeners who tune in each week to hear what the crazy man, DJ Chainsaw has to say next. It could be complaints about politicians, crazy drivers, his dogs or just about anything you can imagine.

The highlight of each show is the introduction of a Rising Star. Becoming the chosen Rising Star is a great honor to Unsigned Musicians and has resulted in highly increased downloads of their music. Each Rising Star is hand picked by our staff of seasoned professionals.

Even though Chainsaw draws his audience in with unplugged music from bands like the Goo Goo Dolls, Nirvana, Jimmy Eat World, AC/DC, Bon Jovi and more, the imphasis of this program is to promote the little guys and give them a chance in our horrid profession.
